Добрый вечер!
Прошу помощи! Если кто знает, подскажите что установить в Ubuntu 20.04 для проигрывания всех фильмов в кинопоиске.
Пробовал Firefox, Chromium, Yandex, — проигрывают трейлер и некоторые фильмы (не все). На всех браузерах одно и тоже. Вылетает что идет настройка браузера, есть инструкция которая выполнена. Может кто знает как поставить нужные кодеки или еще что??? Как проверить какие версии кодеков установлены?

Youtube проигрывается, в самом кинопоиске некоторые фильмы работают и просмотр трейлеров. Настройку DRM включал-выключал. На самом кинопоиске есть инструкция которую прошел (установка кодеков, настройки drm,). Kodi???

Попробуй Chrome — если уж в нём не заработает, то дела плохи…
Ещё можешь на Netflix подписаться (первый месяц бесплатно) и там DRM проверить — на Ubuntu 18.04 у меня там работало, но отписался уже.
PS: У меня тоже не работает, хотя h.264 видео играется в Firefox и DRM плагин отображается в плагинах

затем запустил кинопоиск, он предложил включить drm, включил и прилетел ответ: Пожалуйста, подождите, идет настройка браузера для проигрывания видео Для ручной настройки ознакомьтесь с инструкцией. Инструкция вдоль и поперек проинструктировалась!

Проблема воспроизведения аудио или видеофайла встречается пользователям различных устройств и операционных систем. И если не открывается музыкальный трек или фильм, скачанный из интернета, это ещё полбеды, настоящей неприятностью ситуация оборачивается, когда речь идёт о личных аудиозаписях и видео, аналогов которым в интернете не найдёшь.
От ошибки «Не удаётся открыть файл» или «Неподдерживаемый аудиокодек», появляющейся при открытии медиафайла, например, в плеере Android-устройства, можно легко избавиться. В чём состоит решение, мы и рассмотрим, разобравшись для начала, почему так происходит, что формат не поддерживается.
Чтобы подобраться к сути вопроса и понять причину возникновения проблемы, стоит знать, что представляют собой кодеки и контейнеры.
Что такое кодек
Кодеки – это программные алгоритмы, кодирующие (сжимающие) для хранения, передачи или шифрования данные либо сигнал и декодирующие их, то есть воспроизводящие информацию из сжатого состояния. Название «кодек» образовано от английского – «coder/decoder», что означает «кодировщик/декодировщик».
Мультимедийные файлы в цифровом виде, не подверженные обработке, имели бы неприлично большие объёмы, тогда как обработанные они могут весить в несколько раз меньше, при этом сжатие возможно без потерь качества в процессе сжатия и с потерями.
Сам по себе кодек не будет создавать или воспроизводить файлы, для этого применяются редакторы, конвертеры аудио и видеофайлов, проигрыватели, которые и используют кодеки.
Если не удаётся воспроизвести аудио, а вместо этого плеер выдаёт ошибку «Неподдерживаемый аудиокодек», это означает, что проигрывателю не удалось найти нужный кодек. Он может отсутствовать или возникли проблемы в его работе.
Кодек часто путают с контейнером или форматом файла, но это не одно и то же.
Что такое контейнер
Под контейнером и подразумевается понятие «формат файла». Он не является предметом хранения, а задействуется для упаковки, транспортировки и показа данных, закодированных определённым кодеком.
Медиаконтейнер определяет размер и структуру данных, но не используемый алгоритм кодирования. Также он является частью файла, определяющего тип объекта, то есть, например, в файле film.mp4 контейнером будет MP4. Кроме того в случае, когда файлом является фильм, медиаконтейнер хранит не только аудио и видеопоток, но и метки, обеспечивающие синхронизацию звука и видео.
Так, благодаря сохранению контейнером данных и сведений о том, что именно будет храниться в файле, программы идентифицируют и читают поток, но если информации недостаточно или ПО не способно декодировать данные, записанные внутри медиаконтейнера, файл не может быть воспроизведён.
Почему видео не воспроизводится
Ошибка «Неподдерживаемый аудиокодек», встречающаяся при попытке воспроизведения файлов на разных устройствах, чаще всего возникает по причине отсутствия поддержки кодека мультимедийного файла или аудиокодека медиаплеером. При этом возможно считывание девайсом файлов того же формата, поскольку контейнер может содержать несколько кодеков, неподдерживаемых используемым плеером.
Например, в Samsung с недавнего времени прекратили поддержку DTS (поддержка Dolby осталась) и кодеков DivX и Xvid, поэтому на телевизоре при воспроизведении видео с такой звуковой дорожкой, картинка запустится, но воспроизвести аудио будет невозможно, о чём пользователю сообщит ошибка «Неподдерживаемый аудиокодек». Это касается телевизоров Самсунг, выпускаемых с 2018 года
Как можно воспроизвести неподдерживаемые медиафайлы на смартфоне
Рассмотрим, что делать, если вместо воспроизведения контента вы получили ошибку «Неподдерживаемый аудиокодек», «Не удаётся открыть файл» или подобную. Наиболее просто решение, когда ваш плеер не поддерживает кодек, использованный при создании медиафайла, это скачивание нового проигрывателя. Для смартфонов на Android рекомендуем два самых универсальных медиаплеера.
VLC for Android
Вряд ли есть ещё пользователи, не знающие про этот замечательный проигрыватель, и мало кто не пользовался им на ПК. Это бесплатный кроссплатформенный мультимедийный плеер, воспроизводящий все популярные форматы файлов мультимедиа и поддерживающий сетевые потоки, включая адаптивное потоковое вещание.

I updated Chromium today to 67.0.3396.62-1Since then, Youtube stopped working corerctly. I can enter the website, view the thumbnail videos when I hover them, but I can’t play any of them. I get «An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: *****************) That happens with every video from any channel.
I checked it’s not my computer’s or IP’s fault, because I can watch videos with Firefox corectly.
The debug info from Youytube says that something’s wrong with the audio decoder. I’ll keep on searching :

You can install SRware Iron and you will have Chrome ver. 66.0.3450.0. (It says 65 on the Linux download page, but it is actually 66.0.3450.0.)

@Camelot: Erm, no, really no, no and no. No way — that would be the nearly dumbest move one can make. Please have a look at the changelog. After that please ask yourself some questions:
1. Wtf is testing 62.x
2. Why do newer versions never made it to testing?
3. Is chromium/unstabe in the current state really a good idea?
I’m not argueing against FOSS — i’m argue against versions of software with many CVEs open. So — never suggest or use testing when chromium breaks — use the latest working versions from snapshots. And check the changelog if even that downgrade could be considered as a really good idea.

I have had this problem for awhile through several version of Opera. Opera support essentially ignores me. Youtube videos always work. Videos from mlb.com always work. However, videos on many other sites do not play, such as on MSN. Videos on Twitter and Facebook do not work.
When I try to play this video I get this error message:
«We’re sorry, an error has occurred when playing video (video format is not supported).»

I am unable to replicate it. Both sites play the video just fine. You may want to try resetting your browser’s profile and see if that helps.

I reset the profile and have the same problem.
More information:
When try to play a video on Google photos, it says, «Invalid parameters.»
On Twitter, videos (unless from Youtube) and animated .gif gives the message, «The media could not be played.»

I don’t know what’s the problem if even happens in a Clean profile but as a workaround, You may uninstall Flash Player, if you don’t need it, (those videos works as HTML5 also, as many others).
If you need Flash for a particular site you may use Flash Player into a portable version of Opera (in a different installation).

Thank you as well. Indeed I had the same problem on a clean profile. I tried uninstalling Flash and had the same problem. There was one difference I noticed without Flash. The error message on Google Photos changed to, «This video format is not supported.» When I installed Flash again, it went back to «Invalid parameters.» It’s strange because Google Photos videos look the same as Youtube videos. The MSN video had the same error message both ways.

Thanks. I saw that thread when I was searching for solutions. On Opera 45, I can’t find the plug-ins in the settings. It appears to be different than what is described in that thread. I tried using Beta for a while, and still had the problem.

I enabled it and restarted the browser as directed. It did not fix the problem. I sincerely appreciate your suggestion though.

I found a difference between my chrome://gpu and opera://gpu
Chrome: Rasterization: Hardware accelerated
Opera: Rasterization: Software only. Hardware acceleration disabled
I also noticed a lot of differences in the media internals between Chrome and Opera:

It shouldn’t make any difference on video playing.
I enabled it and restarted the browser as directed. It did not fix the problem
And does opera://gpu shows that video decode uses hardware acceleration? Also, any error message under «Log Messages’?
